The Aventurine Class – a class of positivity, a creative outlook and opportunity.
Our class ethos is:
• Together we respect all, appreciate all, co-operate and learn. We always try our best but know that mistakes can be made - we learn from those, too.
We cannot discover new oceans unless we have the courage to lose sight of the shore. (anon)
We particularly enjoyed learning about the the mills of Stroud and the part they played in Stroud's history. Our puppets look great. We are looking forward to learning about rivers and mountains of the world, then moving into the Ancient Greeks. We also love to read!
We are all reading our way through ‘The Aventurine Quest’, a reading challenge, to find treasure at the end!
We had fun making our mills' puppets ar home. Have a look a the photographs below.

We have visited the 'Cotswold Playhouse'. After taking part in a competition, here are the winners with their eye catching posters. They were presented with their prizes by Beauty herself!
She was accompanied by the reliable 'Cogsworth'.

We had a great time at the Cotswold Playhouse. A big thank you to Margaret and Graham who gave
us a tour and a drama workshop - we would love to go again!
