In Ruby Class we enjoy learning and working together as a team. We strive to respect one another and to celebrate and understand our similarities and differences. We work as hard as we can at a level that is just right for each of us.

One of the special jobs in our class is that we take it in turns to be the Class Leader and this means we are the number one teacher helper all day. We can choose who we like to help us with this job. We also are rewarded for good manners, sensible behaviour and hard work with raffle tickets and a prize draw each week. When we have had a great day in school we may be chosen to be the star of the day. This means we get to sit on a special cushion all the next day. We wanted you to know that we all have our own drawer to keep our stuff in.

We have fun studying interesting topics and are currently finding out about the Egyptians. We love to do art and other creative activities. We made lots of exciting Tudor houses last term and performed a Tudor assembly.

We all took part in a Tudor day with actors and even our teachers dressed up and joined in.
We have homework every week based on our topic, which gets put into a special book, so that by the end of the year we will have a fantastic portfolio of work that we have created.

Practising our writing on Tudor Day.

More fun on our Tudor Day!
