Year 3 Diamond 2026 - 2027

Welcome to Diamond Class.  We are a happy and hard working class where we learn new things, have fun and always try our best.  We follow our school values and aim to be responsible, kind and safe every day. We are proud of the way we look after ourselves, each other and the classroom. 

Our class teacher is Ms Grey and every other Friday Mrs Bailey is the class teacher, our class TA is Miss Ash.  

Our PE days are Tuesdays and Thursdays, so the children should come to school already dressed in their PE kit.

The children need to bring their own healthy snack for breaktime, as well as a labelled water bottle.

We use Class Dojo for our reward system and the children are rewarded for perserverance and not giving up, being polite and kind, working as a team and bringing in their book bag every day. 

Your child will bring home their book bag with an appropriate banded book, please listen to your child read regularly (5 times a week would be super) and write a short comment in their reading record.  They will get points every time they read and this counts towards the reading challenge and prizes can be won.

We also ask that the children complete their 'Daily 5' on Doodle Maths (logins will be stuck in their reading record).  All of these 'little and often' tasks really help the children with their learning.
