Online safety is an important part of helping our children learn and grow in a digital world. At our school, we want children to feel safe and confident both online and in the real world. Technology provides many exciting opportunities for learning, communication and creativity, and it is important that children understand how to use it safely and responsibly.

Children are taught about online safety every year through lessons that are carefully planned to be appropriate for their age and stage of development. This helps them to build the knowledge and skills they need to make safe choices online.

To help keep pupils safe when using school technology, we use monitoring software from Securus Software. This system monitors activity on school devices both online and offline and alerts staff to any potential safeguarding concerns. This allows us to respond quickly and support pupils in using technology safely.
