Cooking in Term 2

Class: Year 3/4: Ruby Year: 2025 - 2026
This term our Geography topic has been 'Where in the World?' and we have learnt about where our food comes from. We had lots of different fruits, vegetables, cereals and meats from around the world including:
Week 1: Oranges
Week 2: Wheat
Week 3: Bananas
Week 4: Rice
Week 5: Antipasti (Meditteranean meat and cheese)
We made orange juice, baked bread rolls and banana bread loafs, vegetable fried rice and sampled lots of Mediterranean meats, cheeses and vegetables.
There were cutting, peeling, baking, kneading and all types of cooking skills involved!
